Custom Ear Plugs
Made for your ears. Noise, sleep, swim.
Custom ear plugs are made from an impression of your own ears, so they seal properly and stay comfortable for hours. I make them for three reasons: protecting your hearing from noise, sleeping through the night, and keeping water out when you swim.
- Anyone regularly around sounds over 80 dB
- Musicians, DJs, shooters, anyone with loud tools or loud music
- Light sleepers and anyone who shares a room with a snorer
- Children with grommets who want to swim
What you leave with
- Plugs that fit your ears and nobody else’s
- The right plug for the job: noise, sleep or swim
What happens
Step by step.
Impressions
A quick, comfortable impression of each ear.
Made to measure
The plugs are made to the exact shape of your ears.
Fitted
I check the fit and the seal with you, and show you how to look after them.
Three kinds
Noise, sleep and swim.
Hearing protection
Noise-induced hearing damage is permanent but preventable, by using ear protection when exposed to sounds over 80 dB. Prolonged exposure, such as listening to loud music on headphones, can cause damage just like industrial noise and tools.
Sleep plugs
Custom sleep plugs are soft and comfortable, for a peaceful night’s rest without disturbances from surrounding noise.
Swim plugs
Essential for children with grommets. Swim plugs keep water out of the ear, protecting the middle ear from infection.
How loud is your life?
Find the 80 dB line.
Slide up through everyday sounds. Anything over 80 dB is where protection starts to matter. Levels are typical, not measured.
Questions
Good to know.
When is noise loud enough to damage hearing?
Protect your ears when you are exposed to sounds over 80 dB. Noise-induced hearing damage is permanent, but preventable. Long hours of loud music on headphones can do the same damage as industrial noise and tools.
What are swim plugs for?
Custom swim plugs keep water out of the ear. They are essential for children with grommets, because they protect the middle ear from infection.
